Settle Down Easy Tincture
Settle Down Easy Tincture
Description Settle Down Easy Tincture is crafted to quiet the nerves, soothe anxiety, and gently support restful sleep. This calming blend combines Ashwagandha root for adaptogenic stress support, Valerian root for nervous system relaxation, Chamomile flowers for gentle calming and digestive ease, and Lavender flowers for mood balancing and sleep-promoting aromatics. Taken as a nightly ritual or during moments of acute tension, this tincture offers plant-based support for winding down and restoring balance.
Suggested Use
Adults: 1/2–1 full dropper (approximately 15–30 drops) in water, tea, or under the tongue, 30–60 minutes before bedtime or as needed for acute anxiety. Adjust dose according to response; start low.
Do not exceed recommended dose.
Shake well before use.
Contraindications and Precautions
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Avoid use. Safety of Ashwagandha and Valerian in pregnancy and lactation is not well established.
Sedative medications and CNS depressants: Use with caution or avoid. Valerian and lavender have sedative effects and may potentiate benzodiazepines, barbiturates, sleep medications (e.g., zolpidem), certain antipsychotics, opioid analgesics, and alcohol, increasing drowsiness and respiratory depression.
Thyroid disorders and thyroid medication: Use caution with Ashwagandha. Ashwagandha may affect thyroid hormone levels and could interact with thyroid hormone replacement therapy.
Liver disease: Use caution. Valerian has rare reports of hepatotoxicity; individuals with compromised liver function should consult a healthcare provider before use.
Autoimmune conditions and immunomodulatory therapy: Use caution with Ashwagandha, as it may stimulate immune activity and could interact with immunosuppressive medications.
Surgery: Discontinue 2 weeks before scheduled surgeries due to potential additive sedative effects and possible interactions with anesthetic agents.
Allergies: Do not use if allergic to any Lamiaceae (mint family) plants or Asteraceae plants if you have known sensitivities to chamomile or lavender. Those allergic to nightshades should note that Ashwagandha is in the Solanaceae family.
Children: Not recommended for use in young children without medical supervision.
Driving and operating heavy machinery: Avoid until you know how the tincture affects you; may cause drowsiness or slowed reaction time.
Drug interactions: May interact with sedatives, sleep aids, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, opioids, alcohol, thyroid medications, certain immunosuppressants, and other herbs/supplements with sedative or immunomodulatory effects. Consult a healthcare professional if you are taking prescription medications.
If you have a chronic medical condition, are taking prescription medications, or are unsure about suitability, consult your healthcare provider before use. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if you experience signs of an allergic reaction, unusual fatigue, jaundice, or other concerning symptoms.
Storage Store in a cool, dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
